La Thuile Bike World

170 km of gravity and cyclist's trails

La Thuile Bike world

Explore the La Thuile bike park nestled in the infinite, lush and intense natural beauty only the wild side of Mont Blanc can offer. 170 kilometres of trails descending from its highest point at 2,600 metres to 1,400 metres in La Thuile: 1,200 metres of elevation gain for the enjoyment of enthusiasts and professionals, but also beginners and families. With such an abundance of luxurious space, there's a solution for everyone, as you'd expect.

Indeed, the bike area welcomes riders of all levels: the less experienced can use the lifts to carry up their bikes and focus on downhill riding, while the more adventurous can tackle the Dual Slalom.

The real highlight of the La Thuile bike park, however, are its gravity trails, leveraging our mountains’ natural gradient to offer a downhill experience like none other in Italy. 14 trails that are all about speed, flow and challenging nature.
Avid mountain bikers will have plenty to explore: you can start at 2,409 metres on the Z-Tuoriasse trail and try your hand at a 3-kilometre descent, or opt for longer trails like the T-Verney, almost 8 kilometres long. The variety of gradients means riders can tackle the gravity trail that best matches their skills and the experience they're looking for.

Or, if you’re a fan of Pump track, you won’t want to miss the 188-metre loop course, where ultra-modern design blends with the natural beauty of the alpine terrain and forests. An exhilarating experience that’s all about speed, technique and pushing your limits. This trail too is highly versatile and suitable for riders of all levels.

And for those who enjoy day- or multi-day cycle touring, there’s the possibility to exploit a cross-border connection between France and Italy, traversing the majestic Alpine landscapes. Ideal for mountain biking or e-biking (with electric charging points conveniently located all along the route).

If you prefer shorter trails, routes of varying lengths and difficulties can be found at higher altitudes accessible via the Funivie Piccolo San Bernardo chairlifts.

All routes – cycle touring, gravity and cross-border – are available with GPS tracking in the Espace San Bernardo App.
