What is LifePass?

Launching exclusively in La Thuile for the 2024/2025 winter season, LifePass is a locationmonitor
and safety aid device with a built-in ski pass. Designed to enhance your skiing
experience, LifePass allows you to see the location of family and friends within the resort using a
dedicated web app. In case of emergency, the device features an SOS button that sends your
precise location to ski patrol. With up to 7 days of battery life, you can keep LifePass in your
pocket throughout your holiday—just like a regular ski pass—removing it only if you need to use
the SOS feature.

Who is LifePass For?

LifePass is ideal for anyone planning a ski holiday of up to one week in La Thuile. It’s especially
beneficial for families and groups, as the location monitoring feature allows you to stay
connected with others on the slopes. With LifePass, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that both
your safety and that of your loved ones, is more protected throughout your holiday.
 

To use the Life Pass, proceed as follows:

• download the Life Pass app to your smartphone
• create an account and register your Life Pass device
• activate the Life Pass before starting your mountain sport
• keep your smartphone on you during your mountain adventures

How to Rent a LifePass

LifePass is available for rent at €5 per day, in addition to the cost of your ski pass. Since the ski
pass is integrated into the device, you save on the cost of the physical card.
From mid-December you can rent a LifePass in three convenient ways:

• At any of the kiosks located throughout the resort and select hotels
• Online through the LifePass website
• And coming soon, also at Ticket Desk Number 9, near the main plaza and gondola base
