Calendar 2025 unveiled: appointment in La Thuile from 3 to 6 July 2025

The dates, locations and stops for next year’s WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series have been announced, including a new venue and the return of fan-favorite venues.
The 2025 season will take place over seven months with 16 race weekends, including 10 UCI World Cup events in Cross-country and Downhill and 8 stages of the UCI Enduro World Cup.
The 2025 calendar of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series has been confirmed. The third year of the new UCI World Cup formats, launched in 2023 to unify all major mountain bike disciplines under a single brand, will visit ten countries in 15 stages (16 race weekends) between April and October and will see the participation of the best athletes in the disciplines of Endurance (Cross-country Olympic XCO and Cross-country Short Track XCC) and Gravity (Downhill DHI and Enduro EDR).
After a double cross-country event in Brazil, in Araxá - Minas Gerais, the Gravity action will start with a stage of the UCI Enduro World Cup in the spiritual home of the format at Pietra Ligure - Finale Outdoor Region (Italy), before the Downhill takes place a week later at Enduro Trails - Bielsko-Biała (Poland).
The World Cup stages in Pietra Ligure and Bielsko-Biała are the start of five consecutive weekends of races that will see the return of Loudenvielle-Peyragudes (France) in Gravity formats, as well as Nové Město Na Moravě (Cechia) for Endurance, before the first XCO/XCC/DHI/EDR triple event at a historic partner location: Saalfelden Leogang - Salzburgerland (Austria).

The second half of the series will see a new venue for the UCI World Cup 2025: the adrenaline trails of La Thuile - Valle d'Aosta in Italy will host the UCI World Cups of Downhill and Enduro. Having hosted XCO and XCC at Mt Van Hoevenberg in the US in 2024 for its debut in the UCI World Cup, the Lake Placid (New York) Olympic region will add a leg to the UCI Downhill World Cup in 2025. The venues hosting the UCI World Championships in Mountain Bike 2024, Pal Arinsal (Andorra), and the UCI Enduro and E-Enduro World Championships, Val di Fassa - Trentino (Italy), as well as the famous destination of the bike park Val di Sole - Trentino (Italy) will also return. Followed by two consecutive weekends in Haute-Savoie, France (exact locations to be announced later), and the Bike Kingdom of Lenzerheide (Switzerland), with the UCI World Championships in Mountain Bike Valais 2025 in the middle and a memorable season ending at Mont-MontSainte-Anne, the renowned Canadian resort.

Chris Ball, Vice President of Cycling Events at Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe, said: "Although I am eagerly awaiting the conclusion of this year’s WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, 2025 is shaping up to be the best season ever. We are expanding once again and welcome La Thuile to the UCI World Cup family, while Lake Placid adds Downhill to its schedule and brings the number of Downhill UCI World Cup stages to 10. The calendar also sees the return of resorts that made a successful debut in 2024, as well as sports icons such as Val di Fassa, Nové Město Na Moravě and Mont-Sainte-Anne. The perfect combination of innovation and tradition."
"Regardless of their history, each stage will take place at a top location in the design of mountain bike routes, ensuring thrilling and adrenaline races from start to finish. The locations are also located in the heart of mountain bike communities and fans, from near and far, will line up along the routes and bring energy on the day of the race."
UCI President David Lappartient said: "The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series has already increased the visibility of the mountain bike discipline with more stages and more host locations than before. In 2025 we will continue this line, adding another new venue to the series. Starting in Brazil in April and ending in Canada after months of exciting races, athletes and fans have much to expect next season. It will be another busy year of mountain bike races!"
