The legendary Franco Berthod slope no.3 has a maximum gradient of 76% in the Grand Muret area, and for this reason it was classified as the steepest run in Italy.
Not surprisingly, it is also one of the most challenging in the entire circuit of the Women’s World Cup, at the third edition in 2025. All the athletes, since the first time in 2016, have appreciated this slope for its characteristics and its technicality.
Some skier and experts have compared it to the women’s Kitzbühel, for the snow conditions as well, often very hard and compact being entirely facing north.
