Races and press conference broadcasted live
We are getting closer to the main event of the winter season of La Thuile: the Telemark World Cup. On 20th and 21st January the best athletes of this discipline will compete on the famous and perfectly prepared n. 3 – Franco Berthod ski slope.
This year Nicolas Michel (SUI) will have to defend his title, whereas among women there will be an ideal scrimmage between Amelie Reymond (SUI) who, after her pregnancy, will dispute the victory with the German champion Johanna Holtzman. On 20th January 2019 the athletes will be involved in the Sprint discipline (Men and Ladies), whereas on 21st January 2019 they will clash in the Classic discipline (Men and Ladies).
Feverish preparations are being made. The opening press conference related to the event will be held on 19th January at 6.30pm at the Planibel Hotel – Race office in La Thuile and it will be broadcasted live on the FIS website https://www.fis-ski.com/. The mayor of La Thuile, Mathieu Ferraris, will open the press conference. Afterwards, there will be some interventions by the members of the organizing committee and the major athletes of the discipline.

Spectators at the parterre, which is easily joinable from the town centre, will have the chance to live the true emotions of a live race thanks to a big screen which will be placed just in front of the terraces.
